Heraclitus says about the universe
Heraclitus of Ephesus claims that, of all elements, fire is the only source of everything. According to him, no creator created the universe; rather, everything originates from fire and also disappears in the fire. It could be seen metaphorically. Stepping into the river is not like stepping into the same water. The river flows with time and the water keeps changing. Heraclitus thinks the flow of the world is cyclical like a river. At the end of the cycle, all things of the world transform into the fire and begin another cycle. Everything is changeable. Nothing stays in the same condition. Conflict is the root of the change of the object. When a forest is burnt down, it doesn’t mean that’s the end. After it burnt, people started to settle there. Therefore, everything here seems to be changing. As a result of this constant change, nothing in the world is separated from anything else.
